An online t-shirt company has created a baby outfit containing the phrase “Retarded Republican Babies for P
alin”. I’m not going to link to it because that is what the company is hoping for, but you can see pictures and find your way eventually to a link by visiting Michelle Malkin’s site.
The company behind the shirt is in the business of making ridiculously offensive clothing and has Obama Marxist shirts for sale, so you can’t quite throw the blame specifically toward Obama supporters. Still, I think it’s safe to say, “Only from the mind of a liberal….”
This is the same congregation of people that produced the $25,000 bounty on Bristol Palin’s baby and the 9/11 cartoon seen in this post, which originally came from mainstream liberal icon, DailyKos.
What does all this mean? To me it shows, again and again, that the people speaking for the Democratic Party are people on the fringes of society. They have abandoned so dramatically the morals and ideas of middle America that it is remarkable that there is anyone left who will vote for them. Rarely do you get an opportunity to see a large group of people that is so completely out of touch with reality.
What has happened, I think, is that sensing sure victory, the left decided to let its hair down. As a result, you are seeing the true party within. Just my opinion, they’ve always been right up there with the Flat Earth Society and the moon landing hoax conspiracy believers. And if they aren’t careful, everyone will see them this way. Actually, if poll numbers are any indication, I think that’s already happening.

I do think we’re seeing the true colors of the coaltion of Democrats, liberals and leftists riding the donkey.
But I wonder: Is it that, given the clear signals of the past two months that Barack Obama is in serious trouble, these liberals and leftists just don’t care anymore? That their hatred and vileness has driven their reprobate minds even deeper into the darkness in which they’ve resided and been spawned?
Don’t know. But what they’re doing puts them at least at the far edges of society, if not out completly.
September 15, 2008 at 11:12 pm |
I’m sure Obama and his people are aware of this. I wonder if they will have anything to say. Other than to deny any involvement.

obama wontd them to say this stuff. if he really did not like what they were saying about palins family he would have done more. he does not care. im glade their showing the true colors of the far left. i am not surpised by this but it is so sick to bring litttle downsyndrom baby into this. how much more low can they get. their slogan schould be how low can liberals go.
September 16, 2008 at 2:16 pm |
Do we know for a fact that this horrible tee-shirt was created by Democrats? Isn’t that just far reaching? I’m a Democrat, with a special needs child, voted for Reagan and Bush (the father) and I am heartsick to see a tee-shirt like this. Please don’t lump all people together when judging something as terrible as this. Just hope I don’t bump into anyone wearing it, but my guess is that if I do it will be a teenager who just doesn’t get it.
September 16, 2008 at 3:19 pm |
Mary, can you honestly say that a Republican came up with that slogan?

I don’t think you should blame this on democrats, I am one, and I think these are terrible. What evidence do you have that somehow these are created by democrats?
I can’t imagine republicans coming up with this slogan, but only because it’s not exactly pro-Mccain. I believe these shirts were created by someone who is just trying to get money for making really offensive t-shirts.
Anyways, I can imagine republicans calling Obama a terrorist, and using other slogans like “Obama loves America like O.J. loved Nicole.”
(To be fair though, that slogan was pulled from the site it originated on after people started complaining about it.)
September 16, 2008 at 7:05 pm |
These t-shirts are absolutely reprehensible. The people who produce them intend to shock – it’s not as if there aren’t any Anti-Obama one’s on the site. Now, a balanced view would have at least admitted that this was the case. But then, this isn’t a balanced view, is it?
What you see in the original post is that the entire ‘Democrats to blame’ thing is assumption based on nothing more than wanting to paint the party and it’s supporters in a bad light.
That, in itself, is equally as reprehensible as the t-shirts.
September 16, 2008 at 7:25 pm |
I don’t understand the leap of logic you made originating from someone making an offensive shirt to treating the democrat/liberal/leftist (who are all different groups) into an entity with the same morals and beliefs – that are “completely out of touch with reality”. Please elaborate.
September 16, 2008 at 7:36 pm |
Every liberal source that I can find, from Huffpost and Salon to DailyKos and DemocraticUnderground all share this same moral deficit.
September 16, 2008 at 8:00 pm |
In my experience of retail the people who design these nasty slogans are not politically motivated – they are only interested in the financial returns of the cheap shock factor.
Democrats or Republuicans who are genuinely interested in politics put forward respectful and informed argument. Not offensive T-Shirt slogans OR irrational and baseless placing of blame. If you really care about politics, try to think straight. Your prejudices are clouding your judgement.
September 16, 2008 at 10:04 pm |
Do you always hold people with views that differ from yours responsible for every atrocity you see? Geez. Believe me, the person that made that up didn’t care about anything but shocking people and money.
You’re not making a good case for the Republicans with this one.
September 16, 2008 at 10:19 pm |
“What does all this mean? To me it shows, again and again, that the people speaking for the Democratic Party are people on the fringes of society. They have abandoned so dramatically the morals and ideas of middle America that it is remarkable that there is anyone left who will vote for them”
In addition to being an overly broad generalization, your remarks are completely off of the beaten path.
Please open your eyes to your surroundings / the world around you and realize that a few do not speak for all.
And “only from the mind of a liberal?” Does that mean that liberals and conservatives are two different evolutions of the human race, or is that theory now going to be an undocumented retraction in this blog?
And for the record, not all Democrats are hippies who “decided to let [their] hair down.”
One last thing, just to get it off of my chest – America, much like the rest of the world, does [not] revolve around “middle America.” Speaking about broad generalizations and pigeonholing while doing it yourself…shades of Billy O…and that’s never a good thing.
September 16, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
You guys pretty much speak for yourselves every day. It’s coming through loud and clear.
September 16, 2008 at 10:45 pm |
Your average Dem is producing hate all across the web every single day.
September 17, 2008 at 1:02 am |
This is a parody site, right?
I thought I read: “Rarely do you get an opportunity to see a large group of people that is so completely out of touch with reality.”
Surely you are aware who has been leading this country into a massive ditch on every single important issue the past 8 years, right? If not, I now understand the type of people who champion qualities like complete incompetence. irresponsibility, deceit, immorality, and ignorance in their elected officials.
This is precisely why I became an Independent. The far-right (y’know, people on the fringe) has taken over the Republican Party and removed all sense of decency and respect. Conservatives have been in charge of our country for almost 8 years in almost every branch of the government, and still they blame everyone else for the mess they made. They take no responsibility or accountability when they are wrong. Blame, blame, blame.
Facts don’t matter, apparently. Please review your party’s policies and actions the past 8 years. They’ve been well documented from a variety of respected sources around the world. But I doubt you’ll find any objectivity from Michele Malkin, though. (psst: you are aware many people consider her on the fringe, right?) . After researching the news archives from the past 8 years, you still fail to hold your own party responsible, then I completely agree with you: “Rarely do you get an opportunity to see a large group of people that is so completely out of touch with reality.”
Knowing where you get your news, it’s no wonder you automatically blame Democrats for being behind that shirt. Blame blame blame. My guess is a troubled individual with no party affiliation created it. But you go ahead and keep spreading trash. It’s exactly in line with what we’ve come to expect these days. Facts don’t matter.
Wake up. Think for yourself. Do research.
September 17, 2008 at 1:12 am |
Actually, I think i know who did the t-shirt. If it’s who i think it is, i doubt he even votes. he’s just totally anti-government. if it’s who i think it is. he thinks the whole system is corrupt and there’s no point in voting for everyone. well, if this isn’t one of his he’s probably made one almost just like it.
September 17, 2008 at 1:51 am |
Wow, talking about the liberal perspectives on abortion, the twin towers, terrorism, disabilities and taking out bounties on babies really brings out the folks who like to try to justify the unjustifiable.
September 17, 2008 at 2:04 am |
That’s sort of funny, in an ironic kind of way — I mean, do t-shirt designs really influence what the voting public thinks? It is indeed a parody, the tasteless kind.
September 17, 2008 at 2:38 am |
Ben, it is indeed a tasteless parody that won’t influence public thinking. It is, I think, still indicative of a certain mindset on the left.
September 17, 2008 at 5:01 pm |
I thought I should bring this article into this discussion because it seems to be what’s taking place, “The Power of Political Misinformation” (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/09/14/AR2008091402375_pf.html)
Quote:
Political scientists Brendan Nyhan and Jason Reifler provided two groups of volunteers with the Bush administration’s prewar claims that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. One group was given a refutation — the comprehensive 2004 Duelfer report that concluded that Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction before the United States invaded in 2003. Thirty-four percent of conservatives told only about the Bush administration’s claims thought Iraq had hidden or destroyed its weapons before the U.S. invasion, but 64 percent of conservatives who heard both claim and refutation thought that Iraq really did have the weapons. The refutation, in other words, made the misinformation worse.
A similar “backfire effect” also influenced conservatives told about Bush administration assertions that tax cuts increase federal revenue. One group was offered a refutation by prominent economists that included current and former Bush administration officials. About 35 percent of conservatives told about the Bush claim believed it; 67 percent of those provided with both assertion and refutation believed that tax cuts increase revenue.
In a paper approaching publication, Nyhan, a PhD student at Duke University, and Reifler, at Georgia State University, suggest that Republicans might be especially prone to the backfire effect because conservatives may have more rigid views than liberals: Upon hearing a refutation, conservatives might “argue back” against the refutation in their minds, thereby strengthening their belief in the misinformation. Nyhan and Reifler did not see the same “backfire effect” when liberals were given misinformation and a refutation about the Bush administration’s stance on stem cell research.
End quote.
(For the record, I’m not an American and have no affiliations to either Democrat or Republican point of view. I’m just here to observe and question certain aspects of the arguments and claims.)
September 18, 2008 at 11:25 am |
delmontyzuma, don’t you feel that anyone who would go through the trouble to run a test designed like that has ulterior motives? The ISG is a known liberal propagandist group.
September 26, 2008 at 3:46 am |
Like this has anything to do with any political party you dumb shit!
September 26, 2008 at 3:52 am |
Whoever wrote this blog has to be retarded himself (or herself). You can’t simply look for things you don’t like and then assume they are supported by the opposing political party–in this case the democrats. Shit, why not blame them for the fact that you’re chronically constipated and in a bad mood. Of course they have nothing to do with that, but that’s something you don’t like so–bingo! it must be them. You’re EXACTLY the kind of idiot who would vote for McCain and especially Palin because it all makes perfect sense. Good luck in life tardo.
September 26, 2008 at 4:03 am |
Paul Zannucci, isn’t it a little disingenuous to act as if you’re just one participant in the discussion when in fact you wrote the original post!!!! From the looks of it your illogical jump to link democrats to everything reprehensible is not supported by many, especially since the majority of contributions supporting you are in fact you yourself! Have you ever been diagnosed with multiple personality disorder? You better check yourselves in to the asylum, cause once McCain loses one of yourselves is gonna freak out!
October 2, 2008 at 7:08 pm |
Yes the republicans are showing their true colors, the owner of this tee shirt company is a republican, that is why they have a tee shirt company comparing Obama to Karl Marx. President Bush has the power to detain the owners of the tee shirt company without charges, so why doesn’t he?
October 2, 2008 at 7:12 pm |
Here is another apologist for Palin and her anti-Presbeteryian views. God punished her with a retarded baby because she wants American taxpayers to support the genetically inferior.
She must step down so McCain has a chance of winning, otherwise we will get Obama as a president and he will just give all of our tax money to black people.
October 2, 2008 at 7:17 pm |
I saw a tee shirt that had a picture of Obama and Hillary Clinton that said “hos before bros” This was before the Republicans selected Palin as the vice-presidential nominee.
I have not heard one Republican speak out against this racism and sexism. I’m sure they would just deny any involvement. Obviously “ho” is slang for “whore”, so they are calling Hillary a prostitute. “Bro” is a contraction of “brother”, a term that many think is pejorative towards black people.
I bet the tee shirt company got a huge tax break from the Bush administration. I bet the mainstream conservative media won’t even acknowledge this and the Republicans will just continue to deny their involvment.
(Taste of your own retarded medicine)
October 12, 2008 at 4:59 am |
I find it amazing someone of your stupidity is able to create a blog, curse you internet, and your ease of use.
October 28, 2008 at 6:02 pm |
If you don’t like the shirt then quit talking about it. Talking about it gives truth to it. Republicans really need to acquire a sense of humor. TShirtHell.com is allowed to sell this because of the First Amendment, something that the Republican Regime would know nothing about. Can you say PATRIOT ACT? Give us back our rights and go back to riding that big ole elephant into the ocean!
October 28, 2008 at 6:10 pm |
John Says: President Bush has the power to detain the owners of the tee shirt company without charges, so why doesn’t he?
No, President Bush does not have the right to detain anyone for selling a tee shirt. You are an idiot. This type of thinking proves it. You probably still think Obama is Muslim and that he is not an American. You also probably think that he is best buddies with Bin Laden and that he wants all Americans to fail in everything. You probably also think that he is an uneducated black man from inner-city Chicago.
By the way, he is not an Arab. He was born in Hawaii. He is Christian. He has a law degree and has not only passed the bar but practiced law in Chicago. He has HOPE for America. He is not going to walk into the oval office and put on a turban and declare war on America. Repubs are idiots and “John’s” comments proves it.
March 3, 2009 at 4:54 am |
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Let me get this strait. I am a republican, but Paul….You are making us look like we were all dropped on our heads when we were young. When ever a democrat responds to your irrational remarks, and yes, you calling democrats stupid and all in too extreme. Your trying to make it seem as though you agree with Communism if you know what I mean. You make it seem like you believe us republicans should be the only party in command, well….seeing as how I agree with the republican political theories, I can not believe you. Your a communistic fuck tard. WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!? I have one more thing to say……….. Paul, your just pissed off because you just won pork chop of the month two times in a row. lol
